2002 - 2007 (GD) Impreza Rear "Triangle" Brace
The Oswald Performance Rear "Triangle" Brace is designed to increase rear chassis stiffness in the 2002 - 2007 Impreza. It works by triangulating the rear strut towers down to the center tunnel, turning the large hole behind the rear seat into a rigid truss structure. This reduces dynamic camber changes by preventing the strut towers from flexing during hard cornering. The stiffer rear end also sharpens up the transitional response and gives the car a more solid feel that is apparent even during normal driving. It does not require any drilling or cutting to install and it takes up minimal trunk space. Spacers are available to allow fitment of the JDM Spec C 12L Water Tank with the Oswald Performance Rear Brace.
The brace is constructed of TIG welded 1020 DOM Steel tubing and 1008 Mild Steel plate. It is powdercoated in your choice of Black or Gunmetal for corrosion protection and durability.
Available with optional Delrin Spacer Set to allow fitment of the 12L Spec-C Water Tank ($25 extra, shown above, for Sedan only)
